I’m working with some terrific companies and we’ve come up with a fun gift guide for guys–
My first two products are for little guys but both have a retro theme that will appeal to dads too
First it’s a new James Bond game from Activision called 007 Legends ($49.99 for PC, $59.99 for Xbox 360, PS3, and others). If you’re a James Bond fan you will love this game– it lets you take on some of Bond’s most iconic classic missions from films like License to Kill, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, Die Another Day, Moonraker and more.
Here you can see that famous laser scene where Goldfinger really wants to split bond into a double agent– You get to play with cool spy gadgets and even drive the cool cars including Bond’s Aston Martin.
Next Mattel launched a HE-MAN game app– total 80’s nostalgia–its He-man’s 30th anniversary–so again it’s great for kids and their dads– Here you can see He-man going thru the world of Eternia in search of the evil Skeletor while battling foes along the way–this game is a 99-cent app and is only available for Apple products now, but it’s a perfect add-on if you’re giving someone an iPhone or iPad–or a great way to spend one of those Apple Gift Card dollars. And who wouldn’t want to pick up their iPad and yell– I HAVE THE POWER. You can also play as She-Ra-so 80’s fangirls rejoice!
Next for the guy in your life–check out Boxee. It’s like a Roku or Apple TV, in that it brings Netflix, YouTube, and other apps to your big screen, but unlike those devices, Boxee has the world’s FIRST Cloud DVR.
What does that mean? You can record an unlimited number of broadcast TV shows, and then watch them on your TV, computer, iPad… pretty much anywhere. It’s only $99, and it comes with 3 months of Netflix for free!
What guy wouldn’t want this?
Every guy gift list has to include new grooming tools and Wahl makes some of the best. Their Lithium Ion Clipper, Shaver and Trimmer (all under $80) give him everything he needs to cut his hair, trim his beard and shave. These products all feature lithium ion power and Wahl’s patented blade technology. The result is a cleaner cut and, speaking from experience, you can go weeks, even months, on one charge.
And finally–talk about power, check out this new phone from LG—it’s the LG OPTIMUS-G ($199.99). It works on either the AT&T or Sprint 4G LTE networks–and it’s the world’s first QUAD CORE-powered LTE smart phone– This new technology makes this phone very powerful and able to multi-task like no other phone out there- It can Q-SLIDE meaning it can run a video and you can do another task at the same time–example watch a movie and text at the same time (can your phone do that?) QUICK MEMO lets you take any image (screen grab, photo etc.) and write notes with you finger on that image and then share those notes via email or text VIDEO ZOOM–lets you zoom into any non-streaming video while its playing Cool huh?
I think these products are going to make a lot of guys very happy
