This is an amazing 3D coloring App for preschoolers aged 2-6. It’s called The Drip Drops: Color the World (http://www.thedripdrops.com), and it turns your iPad into a 3D coloring book with striking new patent pending 3D technology (Broll) Here you can see one of the six main characters, Kellie, encouraging kids to use their fingers to color their world.   As they color different sections it triggers transitions from one scene to the next and “magical” special effects are unlocked. AND finally here’s another coop app – perfect for travelers like me – it’s called – TRIPIT (http://www.tripit.com). Next Mattel launched a HE-MAN game app– total 80′s nostalgia–its He-man’s 30th anniversary–so again it’s great for kids and their dads– Here you can see He-man going thru the world of Eternia in search of the evil Skeletor while battling foes along the way–this game is a 99-cent app and is only available for Apple products now, but it’s a perfect add-on if you’re giving someone an iPhone or iPad–or a great way to spend one of those Apple Gift Card dollars. And who wouldn’t want to pick up their  iPad and yell– I HAVE THE POWER. You can also play as She-Ra-so 80’s fangirls rejoice!

Next for the guy in your life–check out Boxee.  It’s like a Roku or Apple TV, in that it brings Netflix, YouTube, and other apps to your big screen, but unlike those devices, Boxee has the world’s FIRST Cloud DVR.
